2ND QUARTER E-PORTFOLIO (WEEK 1)
DISCUSSION:
1. What are
acceptable ways of public display of affection? What should or should not be
done in public?
2. If you are
in that situation how would you react?
3. Why do we
need to understand the acceptable and unacceptable teen-age relationships?
1. Unacceptable ways of expressing affection in public are being
too inseparable, childish, clingy, hugging and kissing too much, etc. These
acts should be avoided since most of the people around you would be annoyed.
Acceptable ways of expressing affection could be simply holding each other's
hands, a kiss goodbye, and a short hug. Doing unacceptable ways of PDA may
violate the safe space act of the citizens. All of us can still express our
affection in public but make sure to be sensitive.
2. I would be annoyed and bothered since they're violating my right
of having a safe space. Especially if I am focused on what I am doing and
they're being noisy and disturbing. What I would do is to talk to them properly
that they're actions are bothering me. I will tell them that they should lessen
being too distracting to avoid people around them getting bothered. I will tell
them too, to be sensitive enough when they are in public.
3. Understanding the acceptable and unacceptable ways of expressing
affection is very necessary. Those acceptable ways should be kept in your mind
so you will stay being rational in public. Unacceptable ways should be avoided
since it can annoy people around you. Understanding these is important to have
a better relationship with your partner and your community. These ways will
help you learn and grow as an individual.
